WHAT IS ANDROID?

Nowadays, the development of technology in communication system and tools are growing rapidly. My final year project is based on these currents situation. This is s commercial based on my FYP project designed based on international current market demand. Android is chosen because it is an open source code and widely used worldwide. Moreover, it is owned by Google which is the largest Search Engine Opyimization in the world.

Firstly, I will introduce and brief the meaning of Android. Android is utilized by Samsung as an interface for the tablet industry. Android is the world’s most popular mobile platform. It powers hundreds of millions of mobile devices in more than 190 countries around the world. It’s the largest installed base of any mobile platform and growing fast every day another million users power up their Android devices for the first time and start looking for apps, games, and other digital content.

What is Android? Android is an Operating System that has developed a lot in last 15 years. Starting from black and white phones to recent smart phones or mini computers, mobile OS has come far away. Especially for smart phones, Mobile OS has greatly involved from Palm OS in 1996 to Windows pocket PC in 2000 then to Blackberry OS and Android.

Android is the most widely used mobile OS these days. Android does a software bunch comprise not only operating system but also middleware and key applications. Android is a powerful Operating System supporting a large number of applications in Smart Phones. These applications make life more comfortable and advanced for the users. Android applications are written in java programming language. Android is available as open source for developers application which can be further used for selling in android market.
