MY WORK PLAN AND ESTIMATE BUDGET OF PROJECT
WORK PLAN
The
time frame allocated for every student to solve this research an complete this
project is about two semester. For my project it had been started from January
of 2014 and it will be end and complete in December 2014. For the details,
refer to the Gantt chart bellow for the work planning of the project.
The
Gantt chart showed the work plan of a year regarding to complete my final year
project. Started from January and end of December.
As
usual, the duration for the testing and troubleshooting the circuit and
software is the longer regarding on my project. It is because when the project
faces some problem, I need to solve the problem starting doing from the
beginning and find the main problem part by part on the hardware and software.
At the same time the reason why I need to settle the problem part by part
because the Arduino is related to the Android.
ESTIMATE BUDGET
The
estimation on the overall cost of my project. The table of budget is showing
below.
All
the costing budget in the table above are the estimation only and not finalize
yet because may be I will involve with other component or hardware for
upgrading my project. I will take note and proceed to my next research during
my short semester and final year project II.

THE NETWORK DESIGN
After
sketch the flow plan of block diagram, I implemented the block diagram to the
network design. So, here I proved the network design of Security alarm of GPS
coordinate using Arduino.
The
overview of the system in this project I proposed GPS coordinate based system
for tracking a car and employee the security system. It is consists a car unit
and beeper sound from alarm.
From
network design there is showing the car as a demonstration model. It is having
connected the alarm with LED at the each door, bonnet and one more represented
at engine. Then put the Arduino microcontroller with GPS module inside the car.
The Arduino had been already programmed. Next, download or installed the GPS
coordinate from smart phone.
Here
showing the network flow. Firstly, when the door is opened a beeper sound from
alarm as a reminder that car has been stolen or broken. The connection of GPS
search and find out the location of that car. The GPS receiver retrieves the
location information from satellites in the form of latitude and longitude in
every real-time reading. The processes of GPS information to extract desired
values and to transmit this data to the server by program the Arduino software.
Lastly,
Google map will display the current location of GPS coordinate from the laptop.
And make sure there is has internet provider. Then, the end use will receive a
text like “Your car has been broken into current location with latitude and
longitude coordinates”.
